NTF-ELCAC Statement of Support for the Armed Forces of the Philippines and the Philippine Coast Guard

The National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF-ELCAC) stands firmly in support of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) as they courageously defend our nation’s sovereignty and sovereign rights against an aggressive and hostile regional power.

The uncommon bravery, professionalism, and utmost restraint exhibited by our uniformed personnel in the face of naked aggression and violence stands as testament to their undaunted commitment to the protection of our country's rights and interests and the preservation of regional peace and stability.

At this critical juncture, we call upon every Filipino to unite and rally behind the AFP, PCG, and all other frontliners in the West Philippine Sea. Their mission to defend our territory and safeguard our rights and interests is not solely a military endeavor but a national cause that requires the solidarity and support of every citizen. Our sovereignty and the future of our nation depend on our collective resolve to stand together as one people united in defense of our rights and freedoms.

The NTF-ELCAC urges all sectors of society to demonstrate their support through concrete actions: by staying informed, pushing back against foreign malign narratives and disinformation, actively engaging in patriotic activities, and fostering a spirit of unity and resilience.

Let us send a clear message to the world that the Philippines is united and resolute in defending its sovereignty, sovereign rights, and national dignity.

Together, let us honor the sacrifices of our defenders and reinforce our commitment to peace, security, and the rule of law. We remain steadfast in our pursuit of a just and lasting peace, free from any form of external aggression or internal subversion.

As Filipinos, it is imperative that we must vigorously defend our territorial integrity the same way that we protect our communities from internal security threats.
