NTF-ELCAC Official Statement

The National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF-ELCAC) is committed to achieving inclusive and sustainable peace in the Philippines, guided by the principles outlined in Executive Order 70.

We are working to address the root causes of conflict and promote development in conflict-affected areas through a whole-of-nation approach. This involves collaboration with all government agencies, including those recently joining our efforts, to achieve our shared goal of achieving inclusive and sustainable peace.

In line with this, the NTF-ELCAC has expanded its membership to include 32 agencies, including representatives from the private sector, such as the Episcopal Commission on Public Affairs-Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines (ECPA-CBCP). This expansion, along with the expansion of the 12 clusters, strengthens our capacity to implement the "whole-of-nation" approach, enhancing our coordinative and convergence efforts to bring inclusive and sustainable peace and development to geographically-isolated and disadvantaged areas (GIDAs) and vulnerable communities.

We are confident that the expertise and resources of all member agencies will further strengthen our collaborative efforts and contribute to a more peaceful and prosperous Philippines.
