In memoriam

This is where our heroes are laid to rest.

This is to remind us of the price of freedom and democracy.

This is our tribute to the courage, devotion, and fortitude of the men and women who laid down their lives in the altar of freedom.

Let us honor the sacrifices of our forefathers and the generations of heroes that came before us by safeguarding the blessings of freedom and democracy that we have now.

On May 9, 2022, let us exercise our sacred right to vote in a free and democratic elections.

As we cast our votes, we take upon ourselves the burden of attaining a just and lasting peace for the entire Filipino nation.

The essence of the electoral exercises is the exercise of one's freedom of choice,

free from any form of harassment, intimidation, coercion, discrimination, and insult,

the entire electoral process is an arena where all ideas are welcome,

where there exists a marketplace of ideas,

where one's opinions are as good as another's.

the tyranny of opinion and the self-anointed declaration that one has the monopoly of truth and self-righteousness over another have no place in a democractic and free exercise of the right to suffrage.

these are the things that tarnish and undermine the memory of our heroes who fought for our freedom, not only from the colonizers but from those who threaten to destroy the peace of our people and our communities.

In memory of those who paid the price of freedom with their lives,

let us go out and vote on May 9, 2022.

Vote according to the dictate of your conscience

Vote not only for yourself but for your country.

Vote for the future of our nation.

After we have fulfilled our sacred duty as a Filipino voter,

Let us not forget to show respect to one another.

As one people,

united under one flag,

united by one hope,

united by one aspiration,

anuman ang iyong kulay ngayong halalan,

magkaiba man tayo sa paniniwala,

mananatili tayong iisa

bilang isang lahi,

bilang iisang bansang pinagbuklod sa ilalim ng nag-iisang Republika,

at iisang hangarin para sa kapayapaan!

Mabuhay ang Pilipinas!
